LÁ

year. Lá an Loghatranslates as The Day of
Indulgence and is traditionally a pilgrimage
to commemorate St. Deirbhle’s Well (Tobar
Deirbhile) It’s the highlight of the summer
season in Erris and emigrants arrange their
holidays around this time. Whatever its
origins, huge crowds gather and fun is
guaranteed!
